Welcome to the first edition of “Office Hours,” what will be a regular segment here on Fox Tales. One of the unique experiences Marist students are able to have here on campus is the ability to develop a great relationship with not only a couple of their professors, but all of them. All Marist professors are required to have a minimum of 8 office hours per week – time dedicated to helping students on everything from picking new classes to questions about an upcoming tests. These office hours are also a great chance to talk with a professor about current events or issues related to their field.
While the government shutdown continues to dominate headlines these week, many people are quick to forget the big news from last week. Recently I caught up with Professor Juris Pupcenoks, who teaches classes related to international law, terrorism and european politics. We talked about everything from President Obama’s address to the United Nations to recent terrorist attacks in Nairobi, Kenya. Take a look for our full conversation above.
