Marist Sports: Big Wins for Volleyball, Football, and more

Volleyball

Marist volleyball is having another unbelievable season in 2014. With an impressive 19-3 overall record, the Red Foxes are 11-1 in the MAAC, putting them in first place in the MAAC standings. Marist rallied on October 25th at home against MAAC rival Siena College, winning the match 3-1, after falling in the first set 25-13. The Red Foxes are 8-0 at home this season, and with only two home matches left in the regular season, Marist hopes to stay undefeated in McCann Arena this year. Read more…

A huge 27-20 win this past Saturday, October 25th at home against Campbell University unified Red Fox football players, coaches, and alumni. Celebrating the 1994 Marist football team’s success, several former Red Fox football players were in attendance at Tenney Stadium to witness Marist’s exciting and emotional PFL win over the Campbell Camels. Men’s Swimming and Diving

Marist remained undefeated in 2014-15, following their 126-111 victory at Fordham University on Thursday, October 23rd. Red Fox history was made in the 400-yard medley relay, with Marist’s all-senior team (Dylan Cummings, Nick Vandermolen, Jason Ruddy, and John Spitzer) setting a new record (3:31.32) at the meet. The Red Foxes hope to keep their momentum up as they head into a busy November schedule, with several MAAC matchups on the horizon. Read more…
