Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses

Special effects + spooky costumes + 45 acres of farmland at night = One terrifying ride. The Headless Horseman is a personal favorite of Marist students who enjoy a thrill.

New Paltz Halloween Parade

The New Paltz Halloween Parade is a family-friendly event featuring adorable kids in costumes. What more does a parade need?

The Haunted Mansion
Where: 85 Sheafe Rd.
Wappingers Falls, NY
Brought to you by the same people who present the annual New York Renaissance Faire, this haunted event includes rides, vendors, and entertainers, all right in Poughkeepsie!

Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Costume Party
Where: Center for Performing Arts, 661 Rte. 308
The Center for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck hosts its frightening, late-night production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, followed by a party, costume contest, games, prizes, free snacks, full cash bar, and free goody bags for those who reserve tickets in advance. Ages 16 and up only.
