Like many other Marist students, I was lucky enough to study abroad in Florence for a semester, and I can say for certain that there’s nothing in the world quite like it. I was surrounded by art, culture, shopping, and gelato. It doesn’t get much better than that. However, if I could go back and do it again, I would try to spend an entire year there. And if I were a little more artistic (or artistic at all), I would leap at the chance to do the four-year program. Unfortunately for me, my journey abroad is over (for now).
For prospective students, however, your journey is just beginning! If you want to find out more about Marist’s branch campus in Florence, check out our website and sign up to attend an information session next Tuesday, November 11th, at the Marist main campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.
In the meantime, allow me to get nostalgic and show you some of my favorite parts of Florence!
