JP Morgan Chase’s Competition Encourages Software Development for Charities
Students from across the country competed in the Code for Good Hackathon, including groups from MIT, Georgia Tech, and NYU. Out of 24 teams, the Marist student group was one of the top 4 teams selected as winners of the Hackathon. Each student received a $150 Amazon gift card, and their app will be developed into a version for public release by 2017.
As a result of their outstanding performance in the competition, JP Morgan Chase has expressed interest in speaking with the Marist students about summer internships and employment.
