Do you love to dance? If so, consider joining Marist College’s Dance Ensemble!
Completely student-run, the Marist Dance Ensemble is one of the largest clubs on campus. This club is a great way to meet friends, earn priority points, and to have fun!
This year, the dance ensemble performed their annual performance “In the Spotlight” in the McCann Center on April 22nd and 23rd. Each annual showcase is choreographed and performed by students, executing dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary/lyrical, pointe, kick line, and Irish step.
“Taking the stage with my MCDE family is one of the best feelings every semester. We all work so hard to put on a great show for our friends and family and have so much fun doing so!” -Katie Braver, Class of 2018
Not only is this club a great way to get involved on campus, but most importantly gives anyone the opportunity to dance, regardless of their experience. Whether you’ve danced your whole life, or have never danced before, the classes range from beginner to advanced!
