Marist Fox Tales puts you in the paws of a Red Fox. Experience what it’s like to be a student at Marist through the eyes of the Marist Community. Marist Fox Tales was originally created by the students in the Ambassador Program because they wanted people outside of Marist to see what goes on in their every day life on campus and has grown to be the official blog of Marist College. Contributors to the blog consist of current students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Fox Tales contributors write about the exciting and interesting things happening on campus every day.
Located in New York’s historic Hudson River Valley, Marist College is a highly selective, comprehensive college offering a high-quality education rooted in the liberal arts. Marist is one of the best options in the nation for families looking for a future-focused, global, and highly-valued undergraduate or graduate degree.
The College is guided by the principles handed down to us by our founders, the Marist Brothers: dedication to excellence in education, a sense of community, and a commitment to service. Its students develop the intellect, character, and skills required for enlightened, ethical, and productive lives in the global community of the 21st century.
Learning at Marist is truly global as it has a branch campus in Florence, Italy, and over 70 different study abroad locations. Nearly half of our student body studies abroad at some point during their undergraduate career.
Marist has a highly entrepreneurial culture and a world-class technology platform, and is focused on preparing our students for today’s complex and interconnected world.
Our students have won some of the nation’s most prestigious fellowships and scholarships, including Fulbrights and Goldwaters and they have gone on to play leadership roles at some of the country’s most respected organizations and been hired by the most recognized companies in the world, including IBM, ESPN, Apple, Google, NBCUniversal, Goldman Sachs, and many more.
